Vacuum

Helicoflex® seal

Description

Helicoflex® seals are flexible metal seals, which provide waterproofness through structural deformation. The compression of their metal jacket and a helical spring with joined coils allows adaptation to any irregularities of the flanges, while offering top-tier versatility and elasticity.

In addition, the visco-elastic deformation of their outer metal structure allows a maintained contact with the flanges for an extended service life.

Advantages :

  • Excellent corrosion resistance
  • Excellent radiation resistance
  • Extended service life
  • Compatible with all standard flanges
  • Can be used for all types of mounting
  • Outstanding tightness

Features :

  • Wide temperature range: -273°C to +800°C
  • Vacuum to 10-10 mbar

Applications :

  • Ultra-high vacuum
  • Nuclear
  • Automotive
  • Cryogenics
  • Space
  • Semiconductors
